Chevrolet introduced the all-new 2018 Chevy Equinox, and now that it’s been on our lot for some time, we’re seeing the changes first-hand, and we love what we see.
The fresh new design on the 2018 Chevy Equinox boasts a lean, muscular exterior, closely mirroring the global Chevrolet design displayed in the Volt, Malibu and Cruze. The abundant, more detailed design including trim on each model, and projector-beam headlamps are all standard, along with LED daytime running lights. From the rear, the horizontal tail lamps put great emphasis on the wider stance, and the upper levels feature LED tail lamps, giving an all-around classy feel.
The interior also encountered some changes, including a “down-and-away” instrument panel, low windshield base, and available denim style seat fabric, as well as easier loading with a new “kneeling” rear seat, allowing the bottom cushions to tilt when the split-folding seat backs are lowered.
If it’s innovative technology you’re after, the 2018 Chevy Equinox has introduced countless features including a 7 and 8-inch diagonal MyLink infotainment systems, designed to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. Safety features have never been so advanced, with new features such as available Teen Driver, to allow parents to set controls and review an in-vehicle report card to encourage safer driving habits, and available advanced features such as:
